SOLD

A sweet and traditional low carver style chair for a child's nursery. Adult size in the chair seat but equally suitable for a child due to the height off the ground. Painted in a durable, easy wipe white gloss paint and the back rest is adorned with fabric by Jane Churchill from Dragons of Walton Street. The main backing fabric is a fine white canvas enhanced with a raised applique of Peter Rabbit on the front and Jeremy Fisher to the rear.

Can also be used as a nursing chair.

We would prefer the buyer to organise a personal collection from the Yeovil area, just off the A303, but if you are happy to risk using a courier, it has already been packaged in readiness to garner the weight and measurements for the courier quote. As this has been well packaged and clearly marked 'FRAGILE' we cannot accept responsibility if the item is broken in transit if the courier option is chosen.

We will despatch the item as soon as we can arrange a collection date after payment is received - normally the day after payment date, and it will be sent via their 48hr courier service. If you are located in one of the islands or an area that is normally tricky to post to please contact us before bidding with your post code to see if this is possible for your area, and for an adjusted quote.

Here's the afore mentioned zinc covered table done to commission. The original table was a very neglected 'orange' pine kitchen table with a really shabby top, but still very sturdy. So after stripping and sanding it all thoroughly, a generous amount of Farrow and Ball Rectory Red was applied to the base, then the top covered with a sheet of zinc, soldered at the corners and studded around the edges. I love it!

Yet again I have to apologise to you all for the quietness of this page - Life has been rather full on recently but I do have a few projects in the pipeline that I hope to upload over the coming weeks - one of which is a new one to me... covering a kitchen table in zinc which I am really looking forwards to!

Soon soon I can get back to what I love doing - being creative. The work area is open to the elements so recent weather has rather stalled me - roll on long sunny days and paint splattered jeans. Can't wait! In the meantime the below nursery chair is still up for grabs - can be delivered to anywhere in the UK mainland for minimal cost.
