You may have noticed a new name here — Red Fox Crafts 🦊

Over time, our little workshop has grown in two directions…
🪵 Red Fox Rustics — for furniture, woodwork & bespoke pieces
🎁 The Fox’s Den — for personalised gifts, engraving & smaller items

Rather than keep them separate, it felt right to bring everything together under one cosy roof.

Red Fox Crafts now represents it all — handcrafted wood, slate & giftware for home & garden, all designed and made here in the UK 🇬🇧

Well… my dive holiday got cancelled, so naturally I did the next logical thing: attacked the workshop.

Step 1: Take everything out of every drawer, box, and mysterious “I’ll sort that later” pile.
Step 2: Create absolute chaos.
Step 3: Question all life choices while standing in a sea of wood offcuts and half-used paint tins.
Step 4: (Pending…) Create order again.

At this point I’m thinking the workshop has actually grown in size just to fit the mess. Pretty sure I’ve also discovered tools I don’t remember buying and wood scraps I was “definitely going to use one day.”

Anyway, if anyone needs me, I’ll be in here… pretending this is all part of a carefully planned system.

The person behind Red Fox Rustics and The Fox's Den

People sometimes ask what I actually do all day… so here’s the honest version. 😄

Most days you’ll find me covered in sawdust, building something in the workshop or tackling another part of my never-ending house renovation. If I’m not making something, I’m usually planning the next project.

These days I don’t get underwater as much as I used to — the dogs keep life busy — so diving has mostly become a once-a-year escape and something I spend the rest of the year dreaming about.

And of course none of it happens without the supervisors: two dogs and a slightly judgmental tortoiseshell cat making sure every project meets their standards.

I guess if I had to sum it up:
Build things.
Fix things.
Dream about the next dive.
And try to keep the pets from stealing the tools....oh and I hate having my photograph taken!

Thanks for following along with the chaos — sawdust, renovation dust, and all.
