A look back at a month of new collections, interior inspiration and some of the pieces we think deserve a little more attention.

We started August with a look back at what we’d been up to in July, before sharing why designers often return to the same trusted suppliers and exploring the latest collection from Jonathan Adler.

Throughout the month, we looked at the details that can transform a home. From the spaces nobody talks about, and five pieces that work across every room, to the designs our customers keep buying and clever furniture that can make smaller spaces feel bigger.

We celebrated some of our favourite materials, including oak, marble, glass and linen, revisited the products we recommend again and again, and shared an edit of outdoor pieces that work well beyond the height of summer.

August also brought our end-of-summer edit, a reminder that small orders are always welcome for our trade customers, the arrival of Surya Rugs at Beaumonde and a round-up of our favourite finds under £100.
