Lighting was central to this kitchen. Brass accents at the entrance catch and reflect light for a warm, tactile welcome, while thoughtfully integrated drawer lighting reveals contents with a soft, ambient glow. Above, recessed fixtures are strategically positioned to provide uniform illumination, eliminating shadows and highlighting the kitchen’s clean lines.

Paired with a restrained palette of soft greys and crisp whites, and flat-panel cabinetry throughout, the result is a cohesive, minimalist space.

A returning client project, Leighton Gardens is built around a sunken kitchen with a refined linear layout, revealing itself gradually as you move through the home.

Avocatus quartzite forms the focal point across worktops and splashbacks, paired with dark, textured melamine cabinetry that grounds the scheme. Alongside the Euromobil furniture, Miele, Quooker and Siemens appliances were integrated seamlessly into the joinery, ensuring the kitchen performs as well as it looks.

Tucked into Tite Street, Chelsea, this kitchen proves compact doesn’t mean compromise.

Our team were briefed on an open-plan space with a tight footprint, a mezzanine overhead, and an appliance list to accommodate. Every centimetre had to earn its place.

Our solution was to handcraft cabinetry in smoked oak veneer, warmed by antique brass detailing and topped with a Dekton Somnia worktop for durability that matches the depth of the timber. Siemens appliances and a Falmec extraction system integrate seamlessly into the joinery, while layered spotlighting stops the dark palette from ever feeling heavy.

Sedlescombe Road is one of those kitchens that just gets better the longer you look at it.

Brass worktop on the island, dramatic stone detailing, and pocket doors that open up to reveal a surprise pop of colour underneath. It’s bold, but it still feels warm and easy to live in.

Hi-Spec Design partnered with The Water House Project in 2020 to create a space that works as an elegant centrepiece and a fully functioning commercial kitchen. Minacciolo cabinetry, a Sub-Zero wine unit housing 102 bottles, and a Wolf steam oven with vacuum drawer for precise sous-vide cooking.
