SeeHow's latest blog
Our food supply chains are under increasing threat from global political instability and the effects of climate change. We may have to become more self-reliant, eating more home-grown seasonal produce. So, here are a few perennial veg that can we grow ‘at home’ to keep us fed, full, healthy and happy throughout the year – especially the colder months when other veg may be in short supply … but you need to start planning for them now!

It really is so exciting each year to see the fantastic veg exhibited at the local village and town shows. My mind has already turned to thinking about what is needed to prepare the raise beds for next year’s crops so SeeHow can compete. It is also time to think about which veg to plant now, for early cropping next year. Maybe SeeHow’s new interactive vegetable gardening book, SeeHow – Veg, can help!

Flowers help feed our butterflies, bees and other insects. Foliage gives form and structure to our gardens and provides nooks and crannies supporting the whole lives of our struggling biodiversity. SeeHow shows the whole lives of plants including foliage growth over the calendar-year. Let SeeHow help you explore the whole life of your garden and support biodiversity too!

Check out SeeHow's latest blog looking at The Growth of Urban Meadows. www.seehow.co.uk/blog/the-growth-of-the-urban-meadow
Urban meadows are everywhere. They take all sorts of forms. There is the less manicured look - do nothing or maybe throw wildflower seeds onto existing grass and leave to grow. And there is the more structured approach - formal beds, containers, even vertical walls of selected meadow planting. Whatever the approach, this is great for biodiversity and it’s great for us too!

At last....the website is finally live. I hope you all like it.

There is also a link to my flickr site. I will slowly be uploading my photo albums over the next few months....some architecture of course, but mostly flowers, plants and trees exploring ideas of 'disorder and order' on nature.
