What a transformation! The client bought this van with a really dodgy interior, not only was it hideous but it was badly bodged, and had a small timber yards worth of pine in it. After a quick chat we agreed on a plan for the new furniture, basically, keep it simple, don't drown it with lockers and keep the spend sensible. As they see how they use the van we can build on the design from there and add more storage or whatever they need later.
They left my place and went straight to the timber merchants and got 6mm ply to reline it. Went home, pulled most of the interior out, initially leaving the ceiling in before deciding it had to go too.
He's done so much to this, fitting windows, sorting wiring, and exterior work all in about 6 weeks. Amazing what can be achieved with focus, positive attitude.
I'm really blown away by the change these guys have made, the colour combinations and use of furniture give the interior a spacious feel that most don't achieve.
I'm sure a lot of people would say you need more storage but how much stuff do you really need to drag around with you for a weekend away?
