Scottish Friends of CRY

Scottish Friends of CRY This page has been set up to support CRY where all the proceeds raised will go towards heart screening young people in Scotland.

CRY funds vital screening for young people throughout England, Wales and NI through their test centres and mobile screening unit, however they do not have testing facilities in Scotland. It is our aim through fundraising to bring the mobile screening unit here and to start a screening programme to save young lives in Scotland. In conjunction with this we would also like to raise awareness of the risk of sudden cardiac deaths and the work that CRY do.

PLEASE SHARE!!❄️The weekend’s snow meant a number of sessions had to be cancelled or reduced, and we collected less blood than we’d have liked. Stocks are good at the moment, but with the freezing weather due to continue, it’s really important to keep your appointment if it’s safe for you to do so – and that we fill as many more slots as possible.

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness Donor Centres all have spaces that we really need to fill, as do Coatbridge, Gourock, Kilmacolm and Dumbarton community sessions. All blood types needed. ❤

Can you book an appointment for this week? Call us on 0345 90 90 999 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) or book online at www.scotblood.co.uk
