Our Lottery Fundraisers were at the Highcross Shopping Centre back in February. Sarah and Lindsey chatted to many of our lovely supporters, and a further 26 new lottery players also joined us.
Sadly, as a consequence of lockdown, our Lottery Fundraisers will not be able to attend venues, hospitals, supermarkets and events for the foreseeable. We rely heavily on our team to promote our lottery and raffle out in the community, so we’re now looking at ways in which we can continue to support the Hospice, without putting our staff, volunteers and the community at risk.
Lottery income is vital for LOROS. The income raised goes a long way to helping us plan patient care and offer specialist support to our patients living with a terminal illness. The care we provide doesn’t stop there, we even offer virtual home visiting and a telephone counselling service at this time, as we follow government guidelines on social distancing and staying at home. Everything we do just wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community.
If you’d like to do something amazing today, you can play, support and win from the comfort and safety of your own home at www.loros.co.uk/lottery or www.loros.co.uk/support-us/raffle/
