The final stop on our office tour was SH*TSHOW – an all-female consultancy based in Berlin, who promote mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Their open-plan HQ was full of natural light, but it lacked warmth and personality. So we got to work by swapping out basic office furniture with cane chairs and a solid oak table. And we didn’t forget the outdoor space either – creating a communal seating area, centred around a stylish rattan lounge set. “It’s my favourite spot in the office,” co-founder Nele told us. “I like sitting there and enjoying a cup of coffee with the team.” Room for one more?

Next up, say hello to SevenSix, a talent management agency with bags of style.

The brief? To create a space that felt homely and sociable, with a particular focus on the dining area. Enter our Tacoma dining chairs in walnut, paired with chic table linen and LOTS of fresh flowers. Add in some warm tones and cosy textures like boucle, leather and a soft rug and the office has been transformed from blank canvas to a home away from home.

Founder, Charlotte Williams, loves that “it feels like you’re in a restaurant or at someone’s home, and means that we can now have lovely meals – not just as a team, but with the influencers that we work with.” No more eating lunch al-desko for team SevenSix.

At MADE, we believe that a happy and comfortable working environment is just as important as a happy and comfortable home. So to mark the gradual return to the office (remember those?), we’ve partnered with three creative agencies to give their HQs a well-deserved MADEover.

First up, global influencer agency, summer. We wanted to warm up the space with mood lighting, sink-in seating and inspiring artwork. The result? A welcoming office that promotes productivity and collaboration. Job done.

The team’s fave thing about the MADEover? “The new sofa area. It’s a great breakaway space for the teams to come and relax, step away from their laptops and spend a little bit of social time together in a nice, cosy spot.”

In our latest MADEover series, we asked one of our favourite interior stylists Allison Sadler () to transform the communal space of Charles Pearson Court care home in Birmingham into a cosy home cinema lounge to bring together its residents after a year of disconnect. The result? One happy place, and lots of interior inspiration.
