Great couple of weeks progress on this new super treehouse build, even though the weather has turned.
Huge frame up that will hold the house up and also include walkways for a slide, zip line and a wobbly bridge to a platform which will wrap around the huge beech tree.
Challenging couple of days getting the maths right for the preferred riser and tread sizes, but they look great, especially covered in burnt cedar decking.

Phase one complete.

A large Millboard millboard deck in Coppered Oak looks fantastic, complimented by the black slatted cladding on the house, which we followed on to clad the raised beds.
Wide steps lead you from the sliding doors down to the garden. Or you can follow the walkway to the main deck, which is also accessible from the second set of sliding doors.
All corners mitred and picture framed with bullnose edges.
Phase 2 will be filling and planting the beds.
Then we think about the rest of the garden!

Absolutely loved this build even though the hexagonal gazebo and the mathematics that came with it, gave me many a sleepless night.

Me and the bro ( Gardens by Nick ) have got on the Millboard magazine as a feature garden.
Nicks design and my build (with Nicks help too).
Nice little mention for the guys at Dickson Timber too.

A steep Ilkley plot becomes a Japanese-inspired garden: a zig-zag boardwalk of Millboard Enhanced Grain Burnt Cedar decking over water, by designer Nick Islip.

It's a wrap on this one.

Transform the corner to create a usable, private area for relaxing afternoons with a book and a glass of w**e.

This space is around 18m x 18m and shows what you can have with a bit of imagination and inspiration.

Pretty proud of this one.

Will miss being here. Well looked after!

Just the path and planting left on this project. Thoroughly enjoyed and well looked after by my lovely clients (who happened to call me a genius today!! Thanks! You know who you are)

Hexagonal gazebo caused lots of mathematical headaches, but has come out nicely.
Fixed internal benches and a bespoke table (not quite finished) for placing w**e and b**r!
Real slate roof with composite ridge tiles probably caused the biggest mathematical headache. Half a day spent working out rafter angles!

Composite Prime Redux decking in shadow also caused some head scratching with the random puddle shape.

Good progress on my current project.

Completely random shaped deck has been a challenge, but bar a bit more shaping, it's looking good. It's certainly been a head scratcher!
