From tired and dark to light and refreshed ✨

Check out the before👀

This client piece was stripped back, sanded and then paint washed in Fusion Mineral Paint UK Algonquin. Everything was protected with three coats of Polyvine Ltd ‘wax finish’ varnish. I also added decorative bobbin trim and made adjustments to the mirror section so it could be used without a mirror.

A lot of work went into this one, but I love the finished result 🤍

I’m selling this beautiful piece as it is, I felt this charming piece didn’t need a full makeover and has a lovely rich patina. If you like the classic antique look then this one is for you!

A stunning piece of British craftsmanship in fantastic vintage condition. Constructed from solid oak, with a lovely golden honey finish.

It is an incredibly versatile storage piece that works beautifully as a statement bookcase in the living room, a dresser/drinks cabinet in the kitchen, or an elegant organizer for a large hallway.

Key features:
▪️Striking quarter-sawn ‘tiger’ oak grain throughout.
▪️Glazed upper display cabinet with shelves, the glass is in perfect condition!
▪️Drop-Down Bureau provides a sturdy writing surface with built-in traditional pigeonhole organisers.
▪️Three spacious drawers featuring traditional solid dovetail joints and original rustic brass handles.

Condition:
In good original condition with a beautiful, warm patina. It shows minor surface wear, marks, and light scratches as expected with age, which only add to its authentic antique feel.

Obsessed 😍😍

Love working on these antique oak pieces… Check out the before 👀

This beautiful oak chest had definitely seen better days, but I knew something fabulous would be hiding underneath the dark finish. I stripped it back, hand sanded everything, then paint washed in Fusion Mineral Paint UK “Algonquin” to soften the tone while still letting the natural character show through.

To give it a little extra detail, I also added bobbin trim to the drawers and the original brass handles have been polished up!

Finished with three coats of Polyvine Ltd varnish for durability, protection and a subtle soft sheen ✨

Before & after 🧚

A recent commission piece which was stripped back before spraying in a lovely matte white. Fluted detailing was added to the curved front to give a little interest, it’s now a beautiful statement piece for my clients home 🤍

Loving these rich wood tones atm 🤩✨

This solid oak cabinet came to me after my client had started stripping it themselves, but quickly realised just how labour intensive the process can be. Between removing layers of old finish, detailed hand sanding and getting the stain even throughout, it’s definitely not a quick weekend job.

Now fully stripped back and refinished in a rich dark stain, the oak grain has completely come back to life 🤎

My client will be using this piece as a bathroom vanity, and I’ve had a sneak peek of the bespoke marble top they’ve had made for it… honestly it’s going to look incredible once installed 👌

It’s a compact piece but still offers really good drawer space, making it ideal for a tight space, as bedroom storage, hallway or even a living area. The reeded detailing down the sides adds a subtle bit of character that will really stand out once refinished.
