Carpentry Conversions delivered the entire Carpentry package on this beautiful property.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The house was originally a tired 1930's bungalow in need of a complete refurbishment. We removed the original roof and installed a complete timber frame to form the first floor on top of the original bungalow. The slate roof coupled with the grey cedral cladding and anthracite windows gives the property a contemporary edge.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Internally the clients opted for some very modern features. We like the timber and steel staircase that really gives a wow factor as soon as you enter the property⁠⠀

Here's another look back at this impressive property that Carpentry Conversions delivered the Carpentry Contracting package for.⁠⠀

There was a huge amount of work in the roof structure all pitched onto a central steel subframe. We cut and pitched the main roof structure before turning our attention to the eyebrow details and curved roof dormers.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Carpentry Conversions fitted all the bespoke sash windows and cornice detail to the exterior of the property. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We constructed the Douglas Fir balcony to the rear of the property using traditional jointing methods.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Internally we undertook the entire first and second fix package with the exception of the bespoke kitchen.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
As always we learnt a lot from this interesting and bespoke build and will continue to improve our skills and service on future projects.⁠⠀

Carpentry Conversions carried out the Structural Carpentry and Exterior Cladding to this sea front property.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Main contracted and project managed by LGM Developments, Carpentry Conversions fitted the First floor posi-joist system and weather deck.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We then cut and pitched the vaulted roofs to a steel sub structure which accommodated the gable windows at the front and rear of this enviable new build.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Finally we fitted cement board cladding and window surrounds to the entire property which really settled the house into its beach front location.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We love undertaking bespoke projects like this and always look forward to the next one!!⁠⠀

Carpentry Conversions are extremely proud to have delivered the 1st fix and partial second fix package to this beautiful large new build in Itchenor, West Sussex. Main contracted by LGM developments.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We were involved from the beginning pitching the multi - level roofs with flat roofs at there apex to hold/hide the solar panels.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The dormers were finished with stainless steel roofs which we think complement the cedar shingle roof tiles.
⁠⠀
The eyebrow window on the front of the property was enjoyable to pitch and gives a beautiful panoramic view of Chichester harbour.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We fitted all external hardwood windows and doors, framed the windows with large exterior cills and curved corniced heads.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
We then moved onto cladding this mega home with a sprocket and cornice detail around the bottom. ⁠⠀

Carpentry Conversions carried out the 1st and 2nd fix on this lovely run of terrace houses. We particularly enjoyed making the porch’s and balcony on site.

We pitched these roofs from a central steel framework which allowed for a large 2nd floor. Having a stepped frontage allows each house to be individual and look unique.

We like the clean lines of the vertical cedar cladding and aways relish the challenge of creating radius' and curve work on bespoke projects.⁠⠀
