Just finished this Stag branded mid century low dresser. Green, pink and gold on African cherry wood.

This is an original low chest of drawers from Stag the furniture company born in the mid fifties hails from its Minstrel range made of exotic Makore wood and vaneers. It has all of the tell tale signs of great craftsmanship with precision dovetail jointing and a robust build. This means that despite it being nearly 70 years old, the action on all of the drawerswork as perfectly as it did the day it was built.
It has all of its original features including the brass bobs and handles.
It’s been painted in a hard wearing scrubbable deep Matt in Sage Green, waxed and finished in antique wax and has been lined with contemporary pink and gold lining for that super trendy green, pink and gold colour palette.

We’ve been collecting some more really lovely drinks cabinets over the last few weeks.

In the lineup, we have a 1950’s Beautility cabinet, a 1930’s walnut flip top cabinet, a Queen Anne style burr walnut cabinet, some with an oriental flavour, a little piece of mid century and a 1920’s curvy art deco cabinet… tell you what, have a peek.

All of these pieces are still available for commission,
