I sew, I crochet, I knit and I paint - using a mix of contemporary and vintage fabrics and paints in traditional colours from Craig & Rose and Annie Sloan. My favourite has to be creating vintage style patchworks using preloved fabrics alongside contemporary prints from designers including Laura Ashley, Cath Kidston, Liberty, Cabbages and Roses. My makes and makeovers can also be found at Country Matters in Hexton - located in the old village hall opposite The Raven Public House we are open there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10.30 until 4.30 and also Sunday from 11.00 until 5.00 - inside is a wonderful Aladdin's Cave of antique, vintage, collectables & crafts together with a the Lavender Tea Room which provides a warm welcome with delicious homemade food & drink
