🚜🐑 GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TAKING PART IN THE SHEAR RIDE! 🚴‍♂️✂️

This weekend, 8th & 9th August, we are delighted that A Plush Flush is the the toilet provider for The Shear Ride and to be supporting what promises to be a fantastic event!

A huge GOOD LUCK to everyone taking part, especially Jamie and Sam, who will be taking on the challenge of shearing, and to all the amazing teams of supporters who will be taking turns riding the bikes to generate the power needed to run the shearing equipment!

It is all in aid of two fantastic causes, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities, so we are hoping the weekend is a huge success and raises lots of money for these very worthwhile charities. ❤️

We hope everyone has a brilliant weekend, stays safe, keeps pedalling and, of course, enjoys plenty of sheep, shearing and fundraising!

⛳ Proud to support an incredible Herefordshire charity! 💙

Yesterday, Loo of the Year Awards and A Plush Flush were delighted to sponsor holes at the annual ELY Memorial Golf Day at Burghill Valley Golf Club.

With an amazing 36 teams taking part, the event has brought together businesses, friends and supporters from across the county, all united in raising vital funds for this fantastic Herefordshire-founded charity.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in organising what has clearly been a brilliant day, and thank you for allowing us to play a small part in supporting such an important cause. Community, collaboration and giving back are values that are incredibly important to us, and we're proud to stand alongside so many local businesses making a difference.

Well done to everyone who took part, and we hope that a fantastic amount of money has been raised for ELY! 👏⛳💙

Following on from our recent Mental Health Awareness Week posts and this year’s theme of Take Action 💙 , today was a reminder that sometimes the most important action is simply bringing people together.
At A Plush Flush, alongside Loo of The Year Awards Ltd, we are proud to support We Are Farming Minds, an incredible local mental health charity supporting the farming community across Herefordshire and our local area.
Today we provided toilet facilities and picnic benches through A Plush Flush for their monthly One Foot in the Grain gathering, held on the last Friday of every month. These events give farmers the opportunity to visit different farms, learn about farming practices, socialise, talk openly and share food together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Farming can often be isolating, and charities like We Are Farming Minds are making a real difference to so many people and families across Herefordshire.
We are incredibly proud to work alongside them and support the amazing work they do within our rural community.
Because mental health support is not always about grand gestures, sometimes it starts with conversation, connection, community and creating welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable to come together.

What a weekend for the Herefordshire Federation of Young Farmers County Rally at Broxwood, hosted by the Thomas Family last Saturday.
A Plush Flush was very privileged to supply all the toilet facilities for both the daytime activities and the evening celebrations.
The Herefordshire Federation of Young Farmers has played a huge part in the Wall family life over the years, with both Charles and I serving as County Vice Presidents, and myself also being a trustee. Our daughter Steph is also a member and currently Chairperson of our old club, Allensmore Young Farmers, making it even more special for us all to be involved.
The toilet set up included 16 standalone plastic units, two 6-berth gentlemen’s urinal units and a disabled access toilet, all carefully positioned in an L-shape across the site. Every unit was fully restocked and checked between the daytime and evening events, and everything was cleared from site by lunchtime yesterday.
We were incredibly lucky to have help from members of the County teams, along with my brother, during both the set-up and clear-down. Charles supervised operations whilst still recovering and not yet fit enough for the lifting, pushing and pulling involved with the units.
A huge thank you to everyone involved — teamwork really does make all the difference! 🚜🚻

Today marked the very first booking for the luxury trailers under the new ownership of Hector Mackellar from Hippo Events.
Charles and I travelled down to the site to help with the first set-up, making sure both Hector and our customers, who we have had the pleasure of providing facilities for at many of their family events over the years, were happy and confident with everything.
It feels very special to be able to pass our knowledge on to the next generation, but even more rewarding to see Hector’s energy, enthusiasm and strong business awareness shining through already.
We wish him every success on this exciting new journey and we know the trailers are in very good hands.
Thank you to all our past customers who have hired trailers from us over the past 21 years.
We are however still hiring out the single plastics, plastic disabled access and the standalone plastic gent's urinals, for events and parties.
