Congratulations to the Red lion Farm shop at Britwell Salome for winning “Champions in the Countryside Alliance Awards, in the South East Food and Drink Category” it’s a proper farm shop with fantastic meat which comes directly from their farm in the surrounding countryside. It really is good.👏🏽

We also built a brick buttress for them at the adjacent Georgian Farmhouse.

As the season wraps up at Wallingford Rugby Club 🏉
Huge thanks to all the players and coaches for the hard work, commitment, and effort week in, week out. It’s been a real privilege to watch Dunne Jnr Elder and the whole squad give everything in every training session and every match.
An incredible season from everyone involved 👏

Some details from our Buckinghamshire flint project. When the sun was out we really got to see the lovely shadows cast across the flintwork and into the kitchen.

Our first post from a beautifully designed project we were involved in last year. Lots of flint, lots of flint corners.

Happy new year! Towards the end of last year we were back at the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Shiplake, Oxfordshire. The original coursed flintwork had suffered from ivy damage and previous repairs in sand and cement. The flint was taken down and rebuilt to match the original, laid with lime mortar.

More from our Brick Porch restoration, south Oxfordshire, Farmhouse. Some majorly spalled bricks and some previous repairs to replace and rebuild. The guys at Peppard helped us with the special order for the Cants, plinths and plinth returns. A good match of size, colour and texture was key.
