Pure indulgence piece!

I had a set of drawers given to me and sadly the carcass couldn’t be saved. So what do you do with a bunch of old drawers to save them from landfill??

Create an open cabinet for a child’s bedroom 😃

I have pinched and screwed the two drawers together, filled and sanded the cracks, made a shaped wooden rail to cover the join in the two drawers at the front and am currently painting it “Tiger Tea” orange by Rustoleum.

Hopefully someone will see the joy it will bring and we’ve saved them from landfill ♻️🌎

After a long absence, I’m back in a workshop!

Almost a year ago, 11 months to be precise, we sadly had to leave our long term home having just spent a considerable amount on a garden workshop.

Finally, I’ve completed a project from our new premises!!

It might only be a coffee table but there is so much exciting stuff to follow. Feels great to be covered in sawdust and paint again 🤣

Budget little updo on a poorly children’s wardrobe. It had significant damage to the rear bottom corner and it’s mostly an MDF build originally so we decided to add rather than replace to create this little shabby, driftwood beach hut. What do you think????

What do you do when a customer comes to you with one set of drawers wanting 2 bedside units? See below!

This design has created 2 bedside tables but that can easily be converted back into one unit as and when the client finds the second set.

These drawers needed stripping and sanding back after an unsuccessful upcycle attempt. We’re pretty pleased with the finish.

Edit: client loves them as they are and may well keep them just as they are! Win!

New Transformation Post!! 🔨

This piece started life in 1990 as a gentleman’s wardrobe and tragically somehow found its way into a damp garage.

It’s been a real labour of love but I’m really satisfied to see it in its new form as a drinks cabinet!! Far more exciting!

The only new components outside of the decor are the handles and feet. The remaining door furniture is original, any additional timbers are recycled as is the mirror base and wine rack.

If you have anything you don’t want to part with, it may have once been expensive or for sentimental reasons, however it’s just not being utilised let me know! We might be able to repurpose it into something modern, practical and proud once again. More importantly planet saving too 🍃🌳

Another Bevel had an old small pallet bought in for transformation.

The brief was, something for storage for a camper van.

Customer likes; camping (obviously!), nature, colours, the rustic look, bees and wine!

So we created a honeycomb shelf with bungee cord front. This allows them to store anything securely in a tiny home where cupboard doors are just a pain.

Loved this one! Creative, colourful and fun!!

(The ends will be trimmed by the customer when they know how tight they need it)
