Today, on the 81st anniversary of VE Day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who served during the Second World War.

We honour the generation who fought for peace and freedom, and we remember those who never returned home to their loved ones. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As communities come together to reflect and commemorate, we also think of the families who carried loss through the years that followed. We also remember the many undertakers across the country who laid to rest the many member’s of the armed forces who where laid to rest at home.

From all at Adam Collier Funeral Services, we remember them with gratitude and respect.
