A year ago, our beautiful friend Cheryl, told us she had with a limited life expectancy 😥The last 12 months have been a rollercoaster of emotions for all who know her .... so much shock, anger, sadness & fear BUT during this time we have learned to realise what matters, pulled together, & done things to show her how much we love her 💓 One of those things was to enter a triathlon (a team full of complete novices at such a hideous thing) but we did it !! We have created this ‘treats fund' called & the first fundraiser was said triathlon ! Every penny raised has gone towards for Cheryl & her family. It is not a registered charity where funds go to research & management funds, THIS is purely to help Cheryl's family tick some things off their bucket list, while they can 😊 So far it has funded one of their trips to in June, a much needed at a in August & the next trip is chosen, but yet to be revealed 😱It is so nice to see the difference these trips make to a family with so much worry, and we will continue to raise money for these happy times as long as we can.
