The following consultation has been received by the Village Council and will be discussed at the next Planning Meeting which will be held on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at 7.00 pm at the new hall in Wendover Paddock. Residents are most welcome to attend and make their comments to the Village Council. Residents can also submit comments direct to NELC as per the detail on the consultation letter.

Easter Seniors Lunch -
The Easter Seniors Lunch is on Thursday 2nd April but we are moving it back by an hour, and it will now be held 2 to 4 pm.
We've contacted those who have already put their names down on the list - there are places left for those aged 65 and over and who live in Humberston.

So, same date as advertised, just different time - now between 2 and 4 pm.

Cemetery Road -
The Village Council is liaising with NELC regarding the current poor state of the road to the Cemetery and Allotments site. The Village Council does NOT own the road, it is owned by NELC. Previously NELC has carried out repairs and those users who need the road, ie the Village Council for access to the cemetery etc. and any homes along the road, have been asked to contribute to costs, but the road is legally the responsibility of NELC.
At the present time, the Village Council is talking to NELC about what can be done to improve the road going forward and also perhaps looking at a transfer of responsibilities for the road, but no decision has yet been taken on this.
