Daisylane Lleyns had a successful day today at Castlewellan show.
Picking up 2nd in aged ram
1st in shearling ram with Daisylane Maximus and 2nd in shearling ram with Daisylane Montana.
1st in aged ewe with a 2yo ewe
2nd and 3rd in shearling ewe class.
1st and 3rd in ram lamb class
1st and 2nd in ewe lamb class
With the ewe lamb then taking the Alex Brown memorial cup home again this year for champion Lleyn lamb at Castlewellan Show.
And then Daisylane Maximus taking the Lleyn overall championship.
Thanks to the judge Jim Croke for carrying out the job very well.
Also thanks to the stewards and officials.
Special thanks to Lee-Ann Calwell for and early start and stepping well out of her comfort zone today to help show off the sheep for the first time, and doing a great job. She was extremely nervous but held it together.
Also thanks to anybody who got nabbed to hold an animal in the final lineup Mark McCullough Jack King and others not on FB.
