Swiss Army knife workshop.
Our workshop contains a number of very niche tools that allow us to prototype with a broad range of processes and materials. The space is also configured so the workshop can expand into the main studio space for working on larger objects.

An exciting projects that we have worked on recently has been the design and renovation of our Glasgow HQ.
⠀⠀
The design project involved a complete renovation, requiring extensive demolition, masonry work, plastering, framing, plumbing, electrical work, joinery and the creation of three new windows. The large majority of furniture and fittings were custom designed and built for the project.
⠀⠀
The project was seen as an opportunity to learn new techniques and glean new knowledge, while tackling the challenges in the most economical and environmental way possible. An emphasis was placed on reusing or renovating as much of the original building fabric as possible.

To accompany the Boardroom Table we also created a Cabinet that was made from the lengths of timber that were surplus from the table tops construction.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As well as being fashioned from the same tree, the cabinet echos the table aesthetic by repeating the slot detail in place of a handle and utilising a similar opposing edge routed detail. These features ensure a strong family resemblance between the two pieces.

We are pleased to announce that the Void Rug is now available to purchased from delupo.com
⠀⠀
The Round Void Rug is a 100% pure wool Floor Rug. The rug, when viewed from a particular angle, creates the illusion of a gaping circular void in the floor. The design was inspired by the notion that the design of a 2 dimensional rug could be informed by a 3 dimensional approach, where there was more thought embedded in the design than simply the surface pattern. The illusion of depth is achieved by careful consideration of perspective, light and texture.
The rug is also available as a rectangular runner.
