Check out the transformation of these nest of tables. We traditionally French polished the set, as well as repaired the split table top for the customer. Splits are a common issue we deal with, they are caused by tops being fixed to a base using screws. Wood will move in hot/cold climates, with no room for the expansion and contraction, a split will occur.

A great looking antique chest we had in the workshop for some much needed restoration. No aggressive machine sanding, harsh scraping or stripping needed!
