Hi All
Just have to say stopped sharpening due to health reasons (doing a few horse clippers in Findhorn - I can still manage those)
Just a big thank you to all my customers and supporting a local small business. I have so enjoyed travelling around the Highlands and meeting everyone.

Very busy with Horse Clippers 🐴 it’s that time of year 😊.
Still Sharpening knives, clipper blades, scissors and tools.
Not so mobile at the moment but happy doing pick ups from Forres, Nairn, Inverness

Before and after of a Japanese knife fix - used Japanese water stone on tormek to remove a lot of damage from knife. Then gave a new 17 degree bevel with mirror finish

Fraser Blades is a precision mobile sharpening service. I can professionally sharpen hairdressers scissors, barbers clipper blades, dog groomers blades and scissors, horse & sheep clippers, knives and various garden tools.

I have been trained and use the OOkami Gold system for scissor sharpening. This is an extremely precise machine with all angles preset. Using only the best diamond sharpening wheel to get the edge. Followed by the superior gold polishing wheel to polish the blade. It is considered internationally as the gold standard method for accurate and precise sharpening of hair dressers scissors.

Clipper blades for barbers, dog groomers, horses & Sheep can be finely sharpened using Hunters of Canada Clipper Honer. There are few dedicated machines for sharpening clipper blades and Hunters imported from Canada is the best you can get. Renowned for its ease of use and superior finish.

The wicked edge system is the most precise sharpening system I have ever come across. The angle is precisely measured from 13 - 35 degrees. This system uses the very best diamond plates to build up one of the finest edges you could ever get on a knife blade.
