Just completed this gorgeous bureau secretary as a commission piece, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how she came out!

The original bones were there, it just needed some love and a thoughtful refresh. Restoring the burl wood drawer fronts and fall front while bringing the framework back to life in a rich olive green felt like the right way to honour the piece.

And let's not forget how wonderfully practical a bureau secretary is, writing surface, storage, and style all in one beautiful package.
