Darlings,

We want to take a moment to let you know that after 11 years of making work together as My Darling Patricia, we have decided to draw the company to a close at the end of the year.

We are very proud when we look back at the work we have made over the last decade:

Kissing the Mirror
Dear Pat - The Boxed Set
Politely Savage
Night Garden
Africa
Posts in the Paddock
The Piper
Mantle

Highlights have included our first major production, Politely Savage, playing in the Fairfax Studio in the Arts Centre Melbourne in 2006, ‘Africa’ touring nationally through the Mobile States program in 2011, the genuine reconciliation between families in the foyer of Posts in the Paddock at Performance Space 2011 and The Piper premiere at the Sydney Festival in 2014. We have sustained a rigorous artistic process and dialogue with artists, audiences and supporters across these years, and believe we have contributed a unique voice to the scene.

My Darling Patricia was founded by Clare Britton, Bridget Dolan, Katrina Gill, and Halcyon Macleod in 2003 and we'd like to thank all the amazing artists we have collaborated with over the last decade- we’ve been so lucky. We’d especially like to thank the artists we have turned to time and time again and whose work has helped shape My Darling Patricia- Sam Routledge, Sam James, Alice Osborne, Declan Kelly, Phil Downing and Bryony Anderson. It has been a truly wonderful conversation and we appreciate all the energy, engagement and the support we have received. Our friends and families have also been instrumental in the creation of this body of work. Thanks for all the memories!

We’d like to single out Marguerite Pepper for her amazing generosity, support and guidance since 2006 and Chris Ryan who has been there every step of the way.

There are hosts, champions, funding bodies and presenters without whom, none of the above works and collaborations would have been possible. Our thanks to the many individuals who believed in our ideas before they were made and gave us the support to bring them to fruition.

We would also like to thank the wonderful women on our Board of Management for their generosity and support.

Mantle, Falling Woman and The Piper are still available for touring through Marguerite Pepper Productions.

Check out the new vid of Mantle and if you'd like to reminisce with us, we are going to put a lot of photos up on My Darling Patricia's page in the next couple of days.

Our website will remain as an archive of the work we have made at www.mydarlingpatricia.com

Clare can be contacted on [email protected] and
Halcyon on [email protected].

Much love and thanks,

Halcyon Macleod and Clare Britton
