This Victorian Edinburgh kitchen renovation had so much space to work with... so we made every inch count! ✨

A large central island sits at the heart of the room, housing an integrated oven combination, warming drawer and integrated freezer, with a Bora induction hob and integrated extraction keeping the sightlines overhead completely clear. A further unit houses an integrated fridge freezer and hidden coffee bar behind a pocket door, while a separate pantry and utility room complete the space.

The walk-in pantry door is our favourite thing about this kitchen, can you spot it? ✨

Integrated seamlessly into the cabinetry, it disappears completely into the design. Alongside it, a Perrin & Rowe pot filler above the Aga, two dishwashers, a bespoke bin drawer and a Quooker tap, a kitchen built for someone who truly loves to cook, without a single thing out of place.

Let’s look behind the doors. ✨
When you open one of our kitchens, or even a wardrobe, it’s never just a cupboard inside. It’s all built around how someone actually uses the space.

From the outside, everything is kept tidy and cohesive, so it feels calm and pulled together. Inside is where it becomes really practical. If you want to hide a microwave or smaller appliances, they can sit behind pocket or bifold doors so everything feels clean when it’s closed. Pantry areas are set up around what you actually use, with shelving that fits, spice drawers, and internal drawers that keep things organised without cluttering the worktops.

Then there are the smaller details, built-in chopping boards, places to hang mugs, or even a full walk-in pantry with a dedicated space for baking.

As we like to say, if it can be drawn, it can be made at Countryside Kitchens.

✨ This kitchen is built around how the owners use it day to day. What works for one household won’t always suit another, and that’s where considered planning makes all the difference.

Key features include:
• cooker for a more traditional look and feel
• Bin drawer (left of sink) for easy recycling
• tap for instant boiling water
• Dishwasher (right of sink) for a natural workflow
• Walk-in pantry with additional fridge, wine cooler, spice storage, coffee machine and prep space
• Mini book display integrated into the cabinetry
• Ladder access to reach and use the upper units

Everything has its place, and everything is designed to be used, a bespoke Countryside Kitchens project, designed and made in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders.

Walk-in wardrobe of dreams… ✨

Enjoying our new display in our Morningside showroom, finished in Mylands Bloomsbury on the frames with Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath internally.

Built to measure in our Scottish Borders workshop using solid timber and traditional joinery, each piece is made to suit the space it sits within.
