Join Our Team – Cabinet Maker / Workshop Assistant Wanted
Location: Derry / Londonderry
Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £11.00 – £15.00 (based on experience and skill level)
Are you passionate about craftsmanship and quality? We’re a bespoke cabinet making company based in the Derry/Londonderry area, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our workshop team.
About the Role:
You’ll be working alongside experienced cabinet makers, assisting in the production of high-end, made-to-order furniture. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic workshop environment, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in joinery and fine woodworking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke cabinetry and furniture
• Operating basic workshop machinery and hand tools
• Supporting with sanding, finishing, and general workshop duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
What We’re Looking For:
• Some experience in a workshop or joinery environment (semi-skilled level welcome)
• A good work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
