Our flagship store is located in Tower Retail Park Crayford with many other stores in the surrounding areas, including Petts Wood, Sidcup, Sevenoaks & Reigate. The Bed Post opened for business in April 1987 in a modest showroom in Lee Green and has steadily grown, moving from there into showrooms in Sidcup, Eltham and in 1999 our 10,000 square foot flagship retail park showroom & warehouse in Cray
ford. In 2007 another showroom was added to the chain in Dunton Green, Sevenoaks. During our 35+ year history we have developed rapidly supplying beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture to our customers all over the South East for both contract and retail. This growth has been achieved largely by way of personal recommendation from satisfied customers who have spread the word. The reason for that is our emphasis on customer service and care, something for which we were rewarded in 2007 by the London borough of Bexley who awarded us the accolade of ‘retailer of the year’ in recognition of just those qualities. In 2024 we were announced as the Large Retail Champion of the Year at the National Bed Federation (NBF) Bed Industry Awards.
