Two pincushions completed, two different ways with hexagons. The left one is traditional grandmother's flower garden style, the right one has the hexagons folded back.

Listed 4 of these slow stitch kits on my Etsy shop this afternoon, within an hour I was packaging one up to go to Oregon! The shells and driftwood came from Ballycastle beach, Lucky Shell beach in Donegal and Annagassan beach in Co Louth. Who'd have thought they'd go so far!

My latest slow stitch kit, going into my Etsy shop today - lovely full blown roses on linen fabric, copy of a favourite Victorian photo and some Suffolk puffs. Perfect for slow stitching and fabric journals.

My seaside kits have been popular in my Etsy shop, been posting them all over to customers in England, USA and Canada! With no beachcombing trips in the forseeable future to hunt for shells, driftwood and sea glass, I've put together a woodland themed slow stitch collection, interested to see what reaction this one gets.

I badly need to de clutter, but then I put together stuff like this - the old door was made by my father many, many years ago and I use it as a backdrop to my photos. I blew the quails eggs a few years ago, lovely, speckled little things they are. That wee metal plate, can't remember where I got it but the patina is just beautiful. The lace is only about 8" long, not much use but so gorgeous. Guess I'll keep my house full of auld sh*te for another wee while! (photo of my daddy btw, treasure that forever)

I listed some mini slow stitch kits in my Etsy shop yesterday and spent a couple of hours this morning using some of the leftover fabrics. Available to order, the kits are a combination of fabrics, lace and embellishments just waiting for you to add your imagination.

Looking forward to a trip to the coast when all of this is over. I spent some time yesterday making up slow stitch kits for my Etsy shop. Colours and textures all reminiscent of the sea with some driftwood and shells included, gathered on previous trips around our lovely Antrim coast.

Making up some little travel crafting kits for my Etsy shop today - snippets of fabric, lace, book page and music paper along with buttons and bits. All inside a paper wallet to keep everything together.

Another little slow stitch pack sold on my Etsy shop Stitched in Stone, this one will be flying off to Massachusetts in the morning. I always throw in a few extra treats like the card of vintage buttons, and try to make the presentation interesting. This one is wrapped in a few pages from Country Living magazine, an article on a beautiful english garden, before the final recycled brown paper cover. Hopefully the customer will enjoy the extra detail.
