We’ve recently finished bringing this beautiful listed seating area in Surrey back to life — carefully restoring the structure while preserving its original character and charm.

We’ve just finished this rear extension transformation, creating a bright, modern living space with full-width bi-fold doors opening straight out onto the patio 🌿

From the outside brickwork and detailing through to the internal finish, this one has come together exactly as planned – clean, sharp and built to last.

Another fantastic transformation completed by OC Carpentry & Construction Limited at St Joseph’s College 👨‍🍳✨

We’ve recently completed the full renovation of an existing classroom, converting it into a modern Food Technology Room designed for practical learning and durability. The project involved stripping the room back, preparing the existing floor, and installing new purpose-built cooking stations complete with integrated appliances, worktops, and services throughout.

The finished space now provides students with a bright, functional, and professional environment to develop their cooking and food preparation skills safely and efficiently.

A great project to be part of and another successful collaboration delivered on time for the college.

✨ New Project Incoming — Rear Extension Under Permitted Development ✨

Our client came to us looking to create extra space at home without the long wait that comes with a full planning application. After reviewing the property, we recommended progressing under Permitted Development Rights — and because it’s a detached home and within all regulations, we were able to move forward smoothly.

The result? A 3m-deep by 5m-wide rear extension that meets the client’s needs and respects the character of the existing building.

From first enquiry to project start, the entire process has taken just 4½ weeks. In that time, we have:
✔️ Developed a design the client loves
✔️ Ensured the proposal aligns with council criteria
✔️ Secured confirmation for Permitted Development
✔️ Achieved Building Control sign-off
✔️ Completed the structural design
✔️ Produced CGI mock-ups to visualise the final look

We’re thrilled to be kicking off this build — with groundworks and brickwork scheduled to be underway before Christmas. 🎄🏗️

OC Carpentry are proud to share that we’ve been awarded a brand-new project at Chichester & Drake in Worthing! 🙌

Following the success of our recent works at The Point in Broadstairs, we’ve once again been trusted to deliver quality craftsmanship — this time as appointed contractors to remove and install 600m² of premium Millboard decking. 🪵🔨

We’re excited to get started and look forward to transforming this space with the high-standard finish we’re known for.

Really happy with how this timber frame annexe is coming along.
The cladding and brick plinth have tied together nicely, the slate roof is finished, and the skylights and sliding doors have completely changed the feel of the space — it’s so bright inside now.

Feels good seeing it all come together after a lot of planning and groundwork on this one.
Next up is the finishing touches inside and getting the external areas cleaned up and landscaped.

Looking forward to seeing this one fully wrapped up 👷‍♂️✨
