Hardware Focus: We are currently fitting some rather special silver plated and brushed harmon hinges to a set of doors/linings. Harmon hinges allow doors to swing clear of an opening and to fold back into a recessed wall pocket. In the open position, the door rests flush alongside adjacent walls.

We are regularly asked about the long term care of our waterproof wood .
We offer three different finishes for our teak work. They have different strengths and weaknesses and it is worth thinking carefully about the sort of performance you need and the level of care and maintenance you are prepared to carry out.

However, one key advisory- If you live in a hard water area we strongly recommend fitting a water softener. Limescale is a real scourge, and however diligent you are, limescale cleaner does not really do the business.

Delighted to see one of our beautiful wooden baths featured in this week.

Designed to be a peaceful retreat, the loft extension contains a master bedroom and features a William Garvey bath positioned against a large window with views across London.

"Leaf House was commissioned by Edmund and Yuki as a sanctuary for them to retreat to on the upper levels of their house in south-east London," Simon Astridge, co-founder of Szczepaniak Astridge, told Dezeen.
