A 'TRIPTYCH' OF PUBS FOR MITCHELL & BUTLER

With over 160 pubs in the “Castle Portfolio”, Mitchells and Butler were looking to refresh their brand with a new designer twist. We worked on three of their pubs over the summer: The Alwyne Castle, Islington; The Prince Albert, Notting Hill;
and The Volunteer, Baker Street.

Working closely with the contractors on tight budgets and tight timelines, we remodelled eachpub in a unique way; using film quote neon lights, cabanas, graffiti artist container bars, diner style booths, open kitchens, painted vertical gardens, a pair of pigeons, vintage shutters and cared for oak panelling. With this innovative design work even Westminster Council jumped on board!

The Bh&K 2nd Microbrewery opened in Portsmouth.
Brewing over 2000 pints of craft beer very week.

We have the keys for the Portsmouth site.
We are going live from 1pm!

COMPLETION APRIL 2010
A huge tired grey green 'gastropub' converted into a bar, cafe and dining room.
100 litres of Candle Cream Gloss, burnt orange leathers, 88kgs of glass chandeliers, 33 vintage biscuits tins,
24 portraits, and a dozen spit
roast chickens.

A 17th Century pub in the heart of Highgate Village.
Carefully restored and refurbished by the team at Parkbench to a 'cosy and friendly' local with consideration to it's history and original features.
