It turns out that, underneath hundreds of years (literally) of varnish, stain, dirt and dust, there was a phenomenal slab of ancient English pippy oak waiting to get out!

The whole table's nearly finished too, let's hope the client likes what was unearthed 😊

Finally installed into the customer's home! Just needs a base plinth and another piece running along the top and it's finished 👌 he was so chuffed, he started putting some of his most prized bottles on before I'd had a chance to finish clearing up 😁

Everything sanded and oiled and the LED lights are in! Off to install it at the customer's house tomorrow. Can't wait to...

Still more cleats to add and the LED lighting to install, before the final sanding and oiling can begin!
Then it'll be off to Taunton to install it for the customer 👍
