Castleton Field Target Club was established over 25 years ago by Pat Isaacs, who still runs the club Today. The Club caters for all kinds of Air Gunners, from those who just want somewhere to practice to those who want to take part in competitions, we have approx 65 members and the club is open twice a week on a Thursday and Sunday, from 11.00 until 15.30 hrs even later in the Summer. or the club is £15 per year and £1.50 for members or £2.00 for non members when you shoot, this price includes Tea's & Coffee's and normally a good laugh and good company. Safety is taken VERY SERIOUSLY, juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We shoot at metal targets which are associated with Field Target shooting ie. Crows, Rats, Squirrels, Rabbits, also a selection of knock down resettable targets. The Club is a member of WAFTA and we hold four competitions a year at the club, you can also enter other WAFTA club competitions in the South Wales area if you wish, some of our members are World Class Shooters but we cater for every ability, if your fed up of shooting in your Garden and fancy something different call over and have a chat it is a really friendly club, We also have a Pistol section, so if that's what you like you can also do that.
