Elegant Art Deco Vintage Display Cabinet

Meet this gorgeous truly one-of-a-kind display cabinet, lovingly restored in a deep timeless British Racing Green colour.

Originally from the Art Deco era, this piece features stunning curved edges and unique triple glass tube columns on both sides with glass side panels.
Inside, you’ll find two spacious glass shelves for displaying your favourite china or curated collections.
At the back there is bamboo-print bespoke paper bringing texture, warmth, and a hint of the exotic to your treasures.

Harris & Rose Display Cabinet – Art Deco Revival

This beautiful vintage Harris & Rose display cabinet has undergone a luxurious, elegant transformation, blending the timeless Art Deco influences with a bold, contemporary flair.

I restored the rich wood grain on the top and drawers front and the fluted central column to highlight its natural beauty, while the frame has been painted in a bold satin black for a sleek, modern contrast. I added the gold detailing for a touch of glam, especially on the gorgeous curved glass doors with their unique decorative trim.

Inside, the cabinet curved panel I’ve added a statement Art Deco paper, leaving the original mirrored panels and glass shelving to preserve its delicate foxing, adding character and charm to enhance its vintage appeal. Together, they reflect light beautifully, creating the perfect setting for glassware, collectibles, or a curated drinks display (in another language it’s cocktail time).

Finished with a satin sheen protective coating keeping its original charm firmly intact.
Whether used as a cocktail cabinet, display case, or statement sideboard, this Harris and Rose revival will stand a test of time for many years to come.

The warm wood tones revealed by removing the old stained varnish, hard wearing clear satin wax-varnish re applied and the mid-century silhouette make it a standout piece that’s as much about aesthetics as it is about utility.
The edges and the legs of the cabinet are re-painted in black as once it was.
The structure of the cabinet is strengthened to house the weight of the vinyls and store your turntable on the top.
