Pieni alkupala illan päätapahtumaan. Miska ja DesignTaju pääsivät eilen haastateltavaksi Kouvolan Sanomiin kesän yrityskiihdyttämötoiminnasta. Voit lukea artikkelin päivän lehdestä tai Kouvolan Sanomien verkkolehdestä.

Puumuotoilua opiskeleva Miska Karvinen vei suunnittelemiaan tuotteita viime vuonna messuille Saksaan, ja vastaanotto oli innostunut. Siitä alkoi polku kohti omaa yritystä.

After last few weeks of intense startup camps, we are ready for Juhannus! Our suggestion is that you head to your summer house and have a relaxing time by the lake. That's what we're going to do! Back to business next week as fresh as ever ;)

DesignTaju spent amazing week in Cambridge Venture Camp working the business idea forward.
The inspirational week included motivational lectures, hard work and interesting people.
The week got a perfect ending when DesignTaju won the best Pitch Price.
DesignTaju wants to thank Patteri, Cursor and Laurea Entrepreneurship Society - LaureaES for this great opportunity.

In DesignTaju my field is design. I'm both designing and looking for young Finnish designers. Through DesignTaju they can get visibility to their products.

I’ve always been interested in handcrafts and woodwork. As time went by I wanted to develop my skills also in design. I did my double degree studies in Wood Artisan and College in Joensuu, Finland. After that I studied for one year in Madison Area Technical College, Madison, WI, USA to get a new perspective for working with wood. I appreciate handcrafts and I pay close attention to details and aim to bring out the nature of wood in my work.
