Summer has returned to North Wales and it's a great time to enjoy the summer evenings in your garden (with a glass of vino maybe! 😉) We've been out and created a deck for one of our customers today 😊

Another bespoke project - done! Huge rabbit accommodation with removable perspex shutters over all meshed areas, a balcony and internal platform with bunny stairs up to it!

So here we have a summer house with a difference! It's going to be home to a pair of rabbits so the double doors have a wire mesh backing with removable Perspex panes which fit inside the doors so they can be removed on nice days and fitted to keep wind and rain out on the not so nice days! Made on a structure of 3" x 2" timber fitted with 18mm Shiplap cladding; this is pretty much bomb proof!

Wow, this latest creation of ours is HUGE! A re-creation of our rustic bed but in super king size this time with matching blanket box and under bed drawers as requested by our customer. Thanks to our customer for the photos :)

Here's a log store built to our customers' design and dimensions. Made entirely of pressure treated (tanalised) timber with 6" x 1" boards fitted to a structure of 3"x 2".

Here's another bespoke item, designed by our customer and built by us. Our customer wanted a shed for her rabbits instead of the traditional hutch and wanted stepping shelves up to a large shelf and a 'kennel' for them and a 60/40 split in the shed door. Here's the outcome :) Needless to say; it was built by us, delivered by us and assembled on site...... by us!

Well it's that's time of year again, the swallows have gone but all the garden birds start to need extra food to help them through the bad weather. Here at the ark we do a range of bird tables and can do bespoke ones to meet your needs. This is one we did last year with a slate roof.

We are absolutely ecstatic to have been given the go-ahead to construct two bars for a local restaurant and a sales kiosk for another client. These are our biggest projects to date! Look out for the progress photos

Here's a brand new design to us at The Ark. Our customer presented us with their design for a bird table with a slate roof and this is the end result.

We've had lots of new 'Likes' over the last couple of weeks so we want to welcome all of you new likers aboard The Ark! Here at The Ark we are happy to recreate previous projects from our photo albums or if you have a specific design in mind, we can build to agreed dimensions from a simple sketch. We have never and will never use staples to hold joints together, we leave that to the companies that are happy to supply poor quality, mass produced products. All joints made in our workshop are securely screwed with twin threaded, countersunk screws. All products at The Ark are hand built and they always will be........ Did you know that we also offer a general Carpentry and Joinery service across North Wales and surrounding areas including kitchen and laminate flooring installations??
