There’s bucolic Bedfordshire views from this beautiful kitchen, where the warm tones of Cherry wood are complemented by blue glazed volcanic lava stone, the contrast between textures and tones, the glossy cornflower blue splashback with the rich swirling grain of the Cherry is a delight. ⁠

Part of a whole house renovation (more of which tomorrow!), our clients worked with architects ellisclare and interior designer Lizzie Green. Every vista is considered, with gorgeous vignettes throughout…through the crittall doors as you walk in, towards the Market Mustard alcove shelving and the ground floor, with its sculptural staircase. ⁠

The splendid island, with its angled sides and terrazzo top, is an elegant focal point for the space. Whilst, an adjacent utility glows with more Market Mustard and gorgeous green tiles 💚

‘I’d describe Pluck as our saviours during such a nightmare project’ said our client when chatting to Ideal Home about their now ‘dream kitchen’. ⁠

‘We pretty much live in the space now as it’s perfect for our large family. The three boys can usually be found raiding the pantry or doing homework at the dining table, and the huge prep table means I can cook when people come over while still chatting with them. The peninsula breakfast bar makes it really sociable. We’re so happy with the space and wouldn’t change a thing.’⁠

In a feature titled ‘Statement makers’, Country Homes & Interiors Magazine discuss how ‘A dramatic extractor hood not only cleans the air, it will also add style and impact to your kitchen design’ using this Pluck kitchen to illustrate. We had the joy of working with Bex of Homeshaped Style on this project, where the ‘statement’ piece is a bold blue Everhot Cookers, nestled between soft beige and wood cabinets.

‘This is the heart of the home’, a ‘really important space’ where we ‘spend all our time’ - a few snippets from the chats we had with our lovely clients about their Pluck kitchen. ⁠
⁠
Pretty and practical, this kitchen has a beautiful palette...two Pluck pinks, Ruskin Blossom and Ritzy, grounded by rich Midnight Blue⁠ and warm Cherry wood. Originally toying with the idea of Market Mustard cupboards, our creative clients chose to add a pop of this hue with the fun pendant lights. ⁠
⁠
So much storage, Pluck’s design includes a larder cupboard for family essentials (coffee machine included!), a custom Cherry wood w**e rack, and not all about out with the old - our client’s original fridges have been nestled amongst their new cabinetry. Through the kitchen into the dining area, there’s a fluted glass cabinet...but perhaps most importantly spot the mini-kitchen 🐥
