Another beautiful table done ☑️
Reclaimed scaffold boards, planed and sanded and jointed to allow biscuit joints and full length glue on every edge. This means the table will never warp or buckle.
All cracks, holes and any damage of filled with resin to stabilise and make a feature of the unique patina and character of the tabletop, creating a truely unique and one off piece.
The top is then sanded down to 320 grit and stained a dark, almost burnt colour that gives it a stunning warmth.
Osmo oil is then applied, three coats, each coat sanded back to make it feel as smooth as glass.
Farrow and Ball Downpipe finish it off.

For Sale: Reclaimed scaffold board table.
Reclaimed scaffold boards have been planed, thicknessed and jointed, then biscuit jointed and glued to form the table top. All holes and cracks in the timber were then filled with resinto give great character, and then sanded down using 220 grit paper to create a smooth and glassy surface before treating with Tung oil to nourish the wood and dyed with Liberon Antique Pine wood dye to slightly darken the timber.
This was then given 3 coats of Osmo oil as a final layer of protection.
Repurposed legs are sanded back and given two coats of Farrow and Ball wood primer and then two coats of Wimbourne White Estate Eggshell, their most durable paint with a low sheen.
The apron is made from 6x2 timber also given the same Farrow and Ball treatment.
Table dimensions; height 76cms X length 180cms X width 88cms.

For sale: Reclaimed timber table.
Made from reclaimed scaffold boards, planed down, jointed and thicknessed and then biscuit jointed and glued to make the table top into a beautiful, flat top that will not buckle or warp but has retained buckets of character and charm.
All cavities and holes have been filled with resin and then sanded back with 220 grit paper to create a glass-like smoothness to the touch.
We then applied two coats of Tung oil to nourish the wood before applying three coats of Osmo Oil (vegan friendly, plant based and sustainable and resistant to beer, wine, cola, coffee, saliva and sweat but also childsafe and extremely durable, it does not peel, blister or crack - it’s the best finishing oil out there!) and denibbed in between each coat for a great feeling, smooth and glassy finish.
The legs, also reclaimed, have been sanded and prepped for two coats of Farrow and Ball undercoat and then two coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White Estate Eggshell, their most durable finish. The legs are also removable for easy transportation.
Dimensions are: L 190cm (6’3”) x W 88cm (2’11”) x H 75cm (2’6”).
