My brother and I search the streets seeking out any discarded and broken pallets that have been left to grow old, casting prison lik
e shadows on the concrete floors. We take these pallets in, give them warmth and dryness. Then we strip them down, leaving some luscious panels of used wood. After some careful thought and planning, we cut each plank to size and then start to piece together the new furniture.
