Unlike simply throwing good timber away, everything we collect is reused or recycled. Reusable wood comes back to The Wood Store, where it can be prepared for another life, while the remainder is responsibly recycled.

💚 A MONUMENTALLY HUGE THANK YOU TO RAMPION! 💚

We’re delighted to share that The Wood Store has received a generous donation from the Rampion Offshore Wind Community Benefit Fund to help support our big move!

As many of you know, we’re preparing to leave our long-time home at Oakley House and begin an exciting new chapter at the Homewood College site.

Moving The Wood Store is no small task. There’s a workshop, retail operation, offices, machinery, timber, tools and quite a lot of wood (!) to relocate, all while keeping the project running throughout.

Support like this makes a real difference!

A massive THANK YOU to Rampion for recognising the value of what we do and helping us make the move to our new home.

We're looking for a Part-Time Delivery & Collections Driver to join us from August.

This isn't your average driving job. One day you could be collecting reclaimed timber from a local business, the next you're delivering beautiful reclaimed wood to a customer, helping keep valuable materials out of landfill and supporting our amazing community project.

If you're reliable, friendly, enjoy meeting people and don't mind getting stuck in, we'd love to hear from you.
