Just refinished this old pine kitchen worktop for a happy customer. Stained medium Oak, and 3 coats of Osmo Top Oil applied, and they're very happy with the result!

I'm currently making a coffee bar to go into Dwy Afon coffee shop & cafe at Caig y Nos when they open in January 2024. It's nearly all assembled, just the back-stop to be cut / fitted and then final sanding and finishing to be done over the Christmas week with the odd glass of red wine or two! As the sun went down, we shut the door on our magical CHRISTMAS FAYRE, ready for our OPENING TOMORROW, the first of 9 DAYS until the SUNDAY 10th DECEMBER. We do hope you can visit to see all these beautiful locally made gifts, paintings, Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, books, and so much more. The Emporium is right next door and is well worth a visit too. Live-edge oak garden bench made for a customer earlier this summer - they supplied the old cast iron ends. I cleaned and painted the ends in smooth black Hammerite, and the oak was finished in high gloss yacht varnish. The slats were cut from the same oak slab. Holes and cracks in the back-piece were filled with black resin. All fixings are in stainless steel. The cast iron ends were well over half a century old, reckon this should last at least another half-century!
