If you've ever fancied a personalised chopping board, here's one example: initials engraved in the bottom left of one of the sides. These letters were hand-cut with a Dremel and then carving chisel - a lovely gift for someone's lucky Christmas.

Just created an event to say, I'll be at the Christmas Fair, St Ethelwold's House, Abingdon on Saturday 14th December. I'm bringing a variety of items that would make great gifts, including walnut and cherry chopping boards, decorative boxes, coasters and some Christmas decorations. Come along and find a beautiful and unique handmade present!

A minor restoration job on an oak drop-leaf table. The joinery of the legs needed tightening up, and the top needed planing down so that when the leaves are open the whole thing is flat. Of course, that necessitated re-staining and re-finishing the top...

The show was a great experience, I met a lot of very interesting people - and hopefully made some useful contacts! Now to get back into the swing of more normal life with some minor restoration work and a whole lot of designing to do...

Delighted to announce that I am exhibiting a piece at the Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design in Cheltenham. The exhibition opens tomorrow (Saturday 17th August) and runs until Monday 26th. I'm stewarding on Monday-Wednesday 19th-21st, do come along and have a look!

I had a lovely time at the Make & Bake event last week. We had quite a good number of people come through, in spite of the snow, and I was delighted to sell some chopping boards and boxes! Hoping to do a similar event at the same venue in the summer.
