We have been approached by Transported who alongside Electric Egg are building a collection of photographic portraits of people who live and work in Boston, to capture the many faces that make up the town in 2026.

What an exciting opportunity for Boston and we were so pleased to be asked to take part. Looking forward to seeing the final exhibition this summer.

Great news for the UK timber and infrastructure sectors!

The HSE has officially renewed the approval of creosote for industrial and professional use for another seven years, with the next renewal cycle due before 31 March 2033. This provides long‑term clarity and stability for essential applications such as railway sleepers, utility poles, and high‑performance agricultural, equine, and highways fencing.

Creosote‑treated timber continues to offer outstanding benefits — 40+ year service life, lower carbon impact, strong sustainability credentials, and a resilient, efficient supply chain.

Non‑renewed uses will be gradually phased out by 1 April 2027, giving the industry a clear and confident path forward.

A positive step for durability, sustainability, and long‑term infrastructure reliability.
