It is with great sadness that we are closed tomorrow Friday 19th June for the funeral of one best people that I have ever come across. Patrick ' Woody' Woodfield came to work for us 15 years ago as a temporary driver and never left. He never lost a day in all of the time he was with us and it never mattered where or whatever time I needed him in be in at even at 2am for a 9am delivery to Scotland. He would be there. and I would receive a message from the customer to say the Rocket has landed 🚀
He was loved by all of our team and all of our customers across the country who he came into contact with. He had a knack of be able to get along with the youngest or oldest team member be it man or woman. He loved his team Aston Villa ⚽️ and though we are Blues fans it never bothered any of us and the banter we all shared during the football season was great.
You had some funny sayings my friend and one I will always remember you by
" As a matter of fact " always brought a smile to my face even if it was wrong.
Fly high Mr Rocket and you always be in our hearts
