Along with our cousins and little sister Tasneem, last Christmas for our annual Secret Santa, we decided together on a £0 cap to inspire our creativity 😁
Sukayna, having become obsessed with making things using wood, collected all of the old discarded wood scattered around our garden and took them into the living room to dry.
Then using the table saw, she took off all the rough edges before sanding them smooth (if anyone has a free standing planer/thicknesser going spare, give us a shout 😉), cut the wood down to size and bevelled the edge to form the mountain peaks
Then with some wood glue and screws we already had from other projects, the mountain range came together
It was then finished off with leftover Frenchic paint inside the shelves: After Midnight, Parma Violet and Steel Teal.
It was then sealed and stained with Frenchic browning wax and finished off with a line of nail along the base -perfect for hanging jewellry!
It looks absolutely fabulous in our cousins bedroom, all for a grand total of £0 spent 🎊
