“Dear Gap Team
I am writing to formally express my appreciation for the outstanding work carried out by Lee and Tom, who installed my windows this week.
Due to the bank holiday, they completed what was effectively five days’ worth of work in four days, and they did so with exceptional professionalism, commitment and good humour throughout. They started promptly at 8 am every morning and worked solidly each day, despite temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees, with no complaint, no loss of effort and no drop in standards.
Their work ethic was genuinely impressive. They hardly stopped, remained focused throughout, and clearly took pride in doing the job properly. On Thursday, they even stayed later to make sure the glass was fitted into the warm room because rain was forecast overnight. That extra effort was very much noticed and appreciated.
Lee and Tom are a credit to your company. Their attitude, reliability, skill and sheer determination made a very strong impression, and I feel they deserve to be formally commended. If your company has any way of recognising or rewarding staff for exceptional service, I would strongly recommend that both of them are considered.
