A lovely project I had the pleasure of creating and installing recently for one of my regular customers. The brief was to make use of the awkward space at the top of the stairs and to create a library area on the landing. All cabinets and shelves are oak veneered boards with painted birch ply bookcases and waxed solid oak tops. Doors are painted beech which is a very hard fine grained timber and have a lovely subtle grain. These units will give years of use and are a lovely addition to the space.

Two lovely projects completed recently in Baydon and Swindon. The first were dressing room wardrobes complete with 6 deep drawers, pull down hanging rail for improved access and curved hanging and shoe rails in the corner unit also plenty of storage for handbags and other accessories. The second project was a living room library and window seat in a fantastic navy blue by Little Greene with oak detailing. All the book shelves are adjustable and the cabinets included solid oak dovetailed drawers with removable dividers for an extensive CD and DVD collection.

It's been a busy summer and there's been some exciting projects so far this year. These 5m fitted floor to ceiling wardrobes and chest of drawers was a biggie. The customer now has much more practical storage for their large clothing collection. This one included 8 large drawers in total. Lots of hanging space and shelving, and also a pullout trouser rack. I still think they might fill it all though! 😀. The interiors are lacquered oak veneer, so much nicer than printed melamine in my opinion, and beautifully spray painted on the outside in Farrow and Ball french grey. The price of this supplied and fitted was around £3000 less than the 'discounted price' from one of the big name fitted specialists as they had a quote already so it definitely pays to look around. Very happy with the end result on this one. Hallway storage with 4 tall coat cupboards (1 for each of the family), plus deep shoe boxes and some extra storage above. All hardwood doors with a nice little oak ledge to perch on. Finished in Morrells paint colour matched to Dulux midnight teal. All soft close Blum ironmongery and the antique brass handles set it off really well. What a welcome home when you walk in the door!

Some lovely oak wardrobes I finished installing this weekend for a spare room. Full and half hanging rails, big push to open drawers with a more than generous 30kg of capacity and plenty of shelf space. The new owners are happy, they're even contemplating moving into the room themselves 😃

Made 5 of these beauties this week. Looking forward to seeing them installed on the wardrobes. I love the figuring on the oak panels. Just need to finish lacquering them and they are ready to go. , ,
