A day of prep is sometimes all it takes to create a perfect finish.

Too many plasterers out there are trying to get in and out in a day, but all the job really needs is a day to get taped and sheeted, bonded out, blue gritted and to get your head together.

This was done yesterday, ready for the guys to go today and take their time, ensuring all the details finish perfectly 👌

And I know when I get the photos back from this job later today, that that will be exactly what I see. Quality and cleanliness.

How it all started, and how it went!

Really satisfying job for the team, one I know we'll all look back on fondly.

Everyone put a great shift in and I'm extremely proud of what they've achieved, and how they achieved it.
Safety and cleanliness was a high priority throughout, as well as the delivery of the work.

The front of the church was still in use regularly, with different groups of adults and children in and out, everyone worked mindfully of this, keeping music and noise to a minimum during those periods.

Thank you to everyone involved! Onto the next 💪

Match Report – Market Bosworth RFC vs Sileby Town RFC

Result: Market Bosworth 67 – 0 Sileby Town

Market Bosworth delivered a dominant and composed performance on home turf, running out convincing 67–0 winners against Sileby Town. From the opening whistle, Bosworth set the tone with strong carries, relentless pressure at the breakdown, and clinical ex*****on in attack.

The forwards laid a powerful platform, controlling the set piece and winning crucial ruck ball to keep the momentum flowing. This allowed the backs to play with confidence, stretching the defence and capitalising on space with pace and precision.

Player of the Match – Forward:
Gids was outstanding up front, showing confidence in contact and getting stuck into the rucks.

Player of the Match – Back:
Trenchie (sponsored by AR Demolition) impressed with fantastic kicking and a calm, confident performance that helped control territory and keep the pressure firmly on Sileby.

Opposition Player of the Match:
Romy (sponsored by JCS Contractors Ltd) was a standout for the Lionesses, making life difficult for Sileby throughout and scoring a stunning solo try from halfway.

Overall, a comprehensive team performance from Market Bosworth, showcasing strong teamwork, physicality, and attacking flair. A result that reflects the hard work on the training ground and sets a great platform for the rest of the season.

VANDAL DAMAGE ⛔️

This week, we worked on a project at Earl Shilton Cricket Club, patching in some damage unfortunately caused by VANDALS when they broke in and put holes in the ceiling and walls.

This is really unfortunate for the club, and is such a shame people would decide to cause such damage to a piece of the community that is bringing so many people together.

The damage got cut out, boards were fixed up, and then we were in to give it a patch-up ready for paint.
